Descendant Networks are lineage-based ecosystems supported by TBAT Taskforce.
While BHN and LAN are founding examples, our mission is broader: to serve as a resource center for all individuals, communities, and organizations working to preserve and protect Black American culture, history, and futures.
We support these efforts through verification, education, care-based consulting, and connection.

The Black Heritage Network is a growing body of lineage-verified Black American business owners, entrepreneurs, and community producers.
BHN members receive:
Business care support through TBAT's BCS Department
A professional marketing package, including digital materials and a custom radio commercial
Visibility in our printed directory, launching Black August 2026, with annual reprints
Access to peer support, partnership opportunities, and a lifetime of connections

Cooperative Communities Rooted in Lineage
The Lineage Alliance Network is TBAT Taskforce’s national Cooperative Community Network, made up of verified individuals, families, organizations, and community-based initiatives.
LAN partners receive:
Lineage verification services for their members
Genealogy and community documentation support
Cultural education, including Tutnese language instruction
Strategic consulting to help build cooperative, lineage-based communities
National coalition access among reparations-aligned orgs, leaders, and collective networks

It now functions as a fully realized ecosystem with its own institutions, media, education, and community support and is part of the LAN.
While private and not open to the public, The City remains a living model of what’s possible when we root our work in truth, trust, and tribe.
