🌍 Who We Are
The TBAT Taskforce is a national initiative dedicated to lineage verification for Black American Descendants. We serve individuals, families, community groups, and businesses by verifying ancestry, protecting records, and connecting people to cooperative networks built on truth and accountability.
We believe that lineage is more than heritage — it is leverage. Through verification, we prepare our community to be reparations-ready while building trust and cooperative structures for the next 100 generations.
📜 Our Story
For nearly five years, TBAT Taskforce has offered lineage verification free of charge, powered by the dedication of our people.
We are now launching a contribution-based model, beginning with our Black August Special, so we can:
Create cooperative jobs within the Verification Department
Expand Community Care Support (CCS) nationwide
Establish City Hubs where genealogical services and cooperative care meet on the ground
Your contributions sustain the work and ensure it continues to grow for the entire Descendant Community.
🧑🏽💻 Our Experience
Our Verification Team has 30+ years of combined experience in genealogy, descendant history, and cooperative organizing. Every intake, every Pedigree Tree, and every record is treated as sacred.
TBAT genealogists and Genealogists-in-Training (GIT) operate under the Genealogical Society’s Code of Ethics, with strict privacy and protection standards. We safeguard not only individuals but the entire Descendant Community.
