The City Collective is a Private Membership Association (PMA) formed to support the cultural preservation, cooperative development, and long-term advancement of lineage-verified Black American Descendants.
The City was originally conceived under the name The Delineation Station, created to establish a protected community space where Black American descendants could gather, organize, and build together.
As the community began to grow, a guiding principle emerged:
“It’s time to go underground.”
This was not about hiding. It was about strengthening our community foundation away from outside interference.
Open Enrollment occurs during the second month of each quarter:

City Resident
A lineage-verified individual who has completed orientation and entered The City Collective.
Resident Member
A Resident who pledges to help sustain the cooperative through one of our membership circles.
Residents who choose to sustain and build The City may participate through our membership circles.
Supports the foundation of the cooperative through cultural programming, events, and resident support initiatives.
Supports the expansion of cooperative programs, City Hubs, and community initiatives.
Supports long-term leadership development and generational institution building.
The City operates as a cooperative civic community rooted in stewardship, service, and shared responsibility.
Residents contribute through areas such as:
• Cultural programming
• Community care
• Cooperative development
• Education initiatives
• City Hub development
Leadership in The City is earned through community service and stewardship.
The City is for individuals committed to:
• cultural preservation
• cooperative economics
• community stewardship
• generational institution building
The City is not designed for passive membership or transactional participation.
Our community requires alignment, accountability, and contribution.
Open House occurs the last weekend of the first month of each quarter.
Guests experience the culture of The City through gatherings such as:
• Game Night
• Saturday Morning Cartoons & Breakfast
• Culture Night
• Soul Food Sunday
Prospective Residents may visit our Virtual Office during open hours to ask questions and receive guidance.
